What the #@!*

I saw this free pattern on Ravelry and had to knit these up.  My husband did a lot of head scratching over this project because neither of us golf nor do we have any family members that golf.  But they were just so funny, I couldn't resist.

They are either meant for a friend's husband who retired early, or my husband's best friend "Budman" who is a golfer.

It's just that they're so ugly, I'm not sure what to do with them.  They look like Muppets sticking out of the bag.  Is there a grown man out there that would appreciate this?

Not sure.

I think they turned out just fabulous! I foresee a slew of orders coming in from people who see them proudly displayed on the golf course and want some for themselves :D

Hi! I just linked over here from Marit's blog. I love your blog! Those golf club covers are hilarious! I threatened my husband that if he didn't learn to control his language on the course, I was going to make those for him ;).

They are fabulous, I have to say, Golfers always take themselves so seriously maybe walking around with the muppet show in the background is just what they need.

Glad you liked the video of our little monster.... I miss blogging, I feel like I hardly have time to read or write these days...

Catch you soon!
PJS :)

Hilarious! There's got to be a golfer out there who would love them, even though I agree with PJS, it does seem like many of them take themselves way seriously!

Thanks for the props about my pink needle holder. It is kind of growing on me. It just wasn't what I thought it'd be. I read an article in the New Yorker about cilantro haters. They said that if you think cilantro tastes like soap, you're a super taster! It was really interesting, but basically said, you're not imagining it if you think it tastes like soap, ha, ha.

One last thing, if you have Netflix, you'll have to check out Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations." He has one where he visits Iceland. It was great. I don't exactly like him, but I do love how he's so interested in other cultures.
