LinkDang! I forgot about these socks for my dad. They were intended to be a Christmas gift, but never made it off the needles. I found them sleeping in a basket under my bed, right next to my beautiful lace stole with the seven-dropped-stitches-of-doom.

His birthday is in less than a week. Wish me luck!

ps. would anyone think me crazy if I admit that I am sad to see the warm weather today which is melting all my pretty snow?

Great looking socks! My money says you'll get them done on time!

I'd be sad to see that snow melt, too!

Did you make it to that artist shack thing this year?? It's on a frozen lake?

Mine is not nearly so nice looking. You can finish those socks! Piece of cake!

So glad your dad will actually receive some socks from you. Really... I am thrilled. Elated.

And I am with you, it is so sad to see the snow go... until the daffodils peek out of the freshly uncovered ground :)

Such a pretty blue color! And yes, I think you ARE crazy for not welcoming the warmer weather :-) I'm so ready for spring!

I agree with you about the pretty snow, wish it could go from snow on the ground to green grass and flowers instantly.

I don't like melting snow. I don't like snowing snow either;-) I wish it would just stay nice and white and fun for the kids to play with.

love the snow pic! I'll miss it too. If it's going to be cold, it may as well be pretty!

You can do the socks! Love will carry you through...

I'd be a bit sad for the snow to go away too!!
