A little Italian anyone?

My sister and bro-in-law are proud parents of a 7 pound baby girl with ten fingers, ten toes and a tiny turned up nose. She's darling and wonderful and spectacular and perfectly perfect. Welcome little Elizabeth!

So to celebrate, I cast on my Winnie socks in baby pink.
With the leftovers, I can make some Saartje Booties for the little babe. They are my 'waitin' in line to pick up the kids' project.

Oh, how exciting! I haven't gotten any news from home recently - it's good to get bits from you. =more on facebook=
(Beautiful pink yarn too, by the way!)

Yay!! Glad to hear that the baby finally arrived well... We considered Elizabeth too (since it's my middle name) lovely! Ten fingers will be usefull when Aunt Rani teaches her how to knit socks! The colour you are knitting those socks in is just gorgeous. Looking forward to seeing your booties too... I have them in my Queue (among other things).

Babies are wonderful no matter what their sex,....but since I love pink, I think that girl babies are the most fun to knit for:)
